Just got back from a crazy 2 days in Ensenada. I was not aware of Caselli's passing until I got home, which would probably had put a bit of a lid on the festivities... But Mexico did not disappoint with a mix of booze, babes and the Baja 1000!!!

I really want to run this race some time. I just don't have the cash do do it in a proper race truck and if I did it on a bike I doubt I'd make it as far as Caselli did.
It's far too high on the bucket list to ignore though. Jalopnik / Oppo should organize a team for next year.

I spoke to one of the local teams before the race... The owner told me that there was a opportunity for a seat for me next year. When I asked him how much that would set me back he said nothing, it's free!
My buddy is well connected within the scene and he help me make it happen... That would be epic!

Nice shots.
KC' s death did put a damper on the excitement for those following it from behind a keyboard. It was probably for the better that you didn't know until later.

I have a BITD 7300 (used to belong to Kellon Walch), but by then it'll be at least up to 7100 spec. Unless I sell it and buy something else.
